How do I attach the canvas to the frame?

The canvas is attached to the floating frame with two standard Phillips head screws, which are supplied with your kit.

Do I remove the canvas from the frame for painting?

Yes, the canvas is attached to the frame for transit. Before painting, simply remove the two screws with a standard Phillips head screwdriver. Keep the screws handy as the same two screws are used to secure your finished artwork to the frame once your painting is complete.

How many paint colours do I get?

Our kits include 8 x 50ml vibrant acrylic paints, featuring all primary colours: Scarlet Red, Lake Blue, Rose, Mid Yellow, Red Ochre, Light Flesh Tint, Black, and White.

How fast does the paint dry?

Acrylic paint dries quickly, typically within 20-30 minutes depending on the thickness of the paint and the room’s temperature and humidity. Despite this, you should wait a few days for the paint to fully cure once your artwork is complete.

What are the brushes made of?

Our set includes 6 artist-quality paint brushes of various sizes. The brushes have wooden handles and nylon hair for a smooth painting experience.

What is the frame made of?

The inner frame on the canvas is pine wood, and the outer floating frame is made from durable, lightweight PS plastic.

Are the kits suitable for children?

What are primary colours?

The three primary colours are red, blue, and yellow. In paint colour mixing, these three colours cannot be made by mixing other colours.

Mixing Colours?

Mixing two primary colours creates a secondary colour. Blue and red make purple, red and yellow create orange, and yellow and blue form green. The exact hue depends on the specific red, blue, or yellow you use and their mixing proportions. The Artfly provides an artist’s palette to make mixing colours easier.

Should I Clean a Paint Brush?
